The Office of the Dean of Students can be contacted at: http://www.deanofstudents.mq.edu.au/
The first point of reference for all University-related difficulties a student might experience is their Faculty. If they are studying in multiple Faculties, it is the Faculty where the issue occurred if unit-related, or the Faculty of your degree if it is more global.
However, if a student is unable to resolve issues with their tutor or the lecturer in charge of the unit, or the Faculty staff cannot resolve the issue, the next step is to seek the advice of the Dean of Students.
Contact the Dean of Students if:
-you have a problem and don't know how to proceed;
-you're not sure of your rights in a particular situation and need information about University policies or practices;
-you are experiencing academic difficulties within the University.
