Remote Database Access for non-Macquarie or ex-Macquarie clients

Remote database access is available via a Sponsored OneID, which can be supplied to "Contractors, Consultants, third parties or PhD students who has relation with Macquarie University to work on a specific task for a specific time."

As there are licencing agreement restrictions with our vendors, remote access is limited to those undertaking relevant work or tasks with the University. If a client believes they fall into this category, their contact or supervisor within the University will need to request a Sponsored OneID on their behalf. They can do so by submitting a OneHelp ticket with the following details:

Name of the person they are sponsoring
Function of the sponsored individual within the University (why do they need access?)
Start and finish dates for access
Email address for the sponsored individual (to provide them with the Acceptable Use Policy)

Note that the Library cannot make these arrangements. The client must arrange this through their Facility contact.
