We are receiving a number of requests from teaching staff regarding linking to eReserve documents from iLearn.
This is easy to do, and Ian Argent has provided a 'how to' guide below so that you can provide this information to teaching staff who may ask at the Service Zones.
There are 2 ways to link - EITHER using a single URL to link to ALL of the readings for a Unit OR using individual URLs for individual readings.
Here's what you do
First - linking to ALL of the readings for a Unit in eReserve
1. Go to the eReserve page at: https://www.library.mq.edu.au/borrowing/ereserve.php
2. In the 'Enter Unit Code' search box, type a Unit code, eg: AHIS100 and then 'Go'.
3. This gives you a list of all items on eReserve for the Unit AHIS100.
The URL which you have created is:https://www.library.mq.edu.au/borrowing/ereserve.php?command=searchCourse&coursenotes=0&exams=0&ereadings=0&course=ahis100
Use this URL if linking to all the readings for this Unit.
Second - linking to INDIVIDUAL readings for a Unit in eReserve
1. Go to the eReserve page at https://www.library.mq.edu.au/borrowing/ereserve.php
2. In the 'Enter Keywords' search box, type in 3+ keywords selected from author or book/journal title or article/chapter title, from the chosen eReserve record.eg: Bowie sacrifice world
3. This example retrieves a single record. Use whatever combination of keywords you need in order to retrieve 1 record. In this case the resulting URL is: https://www.library.mq.edu.au/borrowing/ereserve.php?command=searchKeyword&keywords=bowie+sacrifice+world
Use this URL if linking to this specific ereading.
Note that this procedure will change once Equella is operational.
