This can be for a few reasons:
- Overdue items on the patron record
- Fines exceeding $50 on the patron record
- Temporary block placed on patron record
If you discover one of the above reasons, please advise the patron to fix the problem (return the overdue item, pay fines so that they are below $50) which will allow them to place an ARC request.
If you cannot see any of the above reasons, please let the Service Coordinator know.
For urgent ARC requests, staff may use the Guest MyLibrary login. The login details are in the Current Password List in the Procedures manual at each service zone.
