If you find a Reserve item that is damaged:
1. If the damage is not immediately noticeable, write a note eg: pp. 10-15 torn out, DVD damaged - crack/cut on playing side.
2. Lend the Reserve item to 'Collection Maintenance':
You can lend an item to 'Collection Maintenance' in 3 ways:
1. Name: enter 'Collection Maintenance' in the surname field.
2. Institution id: enter 'Collmain'
3. Barcode: 22109000628951
3. Place the Reserve item on the 'Reserve Repairs' shelf at Service Zone 3.
This will ensure that staff aren't searching for the item while it's in the repairs workflow, and we can track it down if we really need to.
Staff doing the actual repairs will check the items back in when finished.
