W6D - Lotus Theatre

W6D is located in the empty space between W6A, W6B and X5B. It has been built as a replacement teaching and learning facility for Macquarie Theatre - which will undergo refurbishment in 2012.

W6D will have approximately 500 theatre style seats with flexibility to change configuration for exams and teaching.

With the conclusion of the Naming Competition, the theatre has been named the Lotus Theatre.

Note that once Macquarie Theatre closes, lecture groups will routinely be using the Lotus Theatre instead. There is no word on if the Lotus Theatre will be operational during Session 3 (Jan-Feb 2012), but be aware that we may be asked for directions to it.
