Macquarie University Research Online Macquarie University Research Online is Macquarie University’s institutional digital repository.
Macquarie University Research Online is designed to capture, store, index, preserve, provide access to and disseminate the intellectual and research output of Macquarie staff, students and affiliates to the global research community.
Metadata within the repository is harvested by Trove and Google (spreading access points for Macquarie University research).
IRIS records come to Macquarie University ResearchOnline. IRIS is the HERDC source used to assign research grants so accuracy is essential. From 2012, Library Resources staff will check the records, correct them as needed and add DOIs, keywords, abstracts etc. They will locate a full-text copy of the work, check publish permissions, request the copy and permission from the author and made the open access copy available if permitted.
