How can Advocacy and Student Support assist International Students?
They can assist with:
- Visa advice ie eCoE applications, reduction in study load, withdrawal etc
- Orientation / transition
- Information workshops
- Academic progression monitoring
- Fee Extensions

2. To make an appointment with an Advocacy Officer (eg: to obtain visa or general support): http://www.international.mq.edu.au/studentservices/miservices
Note: When contacting Advocacy Officers, first ask the student their surname, then select the Officer whose portfolio covers the first letter of that surname. This will save the student from contacting the wrong staff member and having to be re-directed.

3. International student needing Overseas Health Insurance services:
Send the student to the MI Shop, Level 1, E3A (9-5 Monday to Friday).
