Email access for casual and contract employees who are leaving the university or are awaiting to be reappointed under a new contract has been extended.
Staff leaving the university will generally be granted continued Macquarie University email access for up to three (3) months. This will ensure email access for the period between the end of year when many casual staff contracts expire to the generation of new casual staff contracts in February/March of the following year.
Staff leaving the University may also have Macquarie University email forwarded to an external address for six (6) months from the time of termination.
In addition, access to HR Online will be provided for up to two years after a user ceases to be an employee of the University, to enable access to payslips and payment summaries. Access to other Macquarie University systems will cease when the employee does not have a contract of employment with the University with the exception of HR Online.
