New Procedures for Holds and Reserve

As per Kathie Fraser's email, Resource Access has a new system for both holds and reserve.

Reserve items, that are not held behind the counter, will now be lendable through a self-check machine which has recently been installed. Staff at the borrowing counter will educate clients about how to use this new system.

Holds will also now be held in the Reserve area, under call number order. Clients will be able to borrow these items through the same self-service system that exists for other materials.There will be no information to identify clients in the books. Once again Resource Access staff are best placed to provide information on this change of service, so please refer to them if you get any queries about this.
